Because of the improvements you installed, the 2nd floor temperature was so comfortable that the bedroom fan was not used for the summer of 2013. In the winter of 2013 when my body would tell me its cold my furnace will now come on in less then 60 seconds (before it would take several minutes to even turn on and even longer to heat up the house). My kitchen floor is not as cold as it had been before the basement insulation was added. Plus my heating and cooling bill has dropped on a monthly basis.

I scheduled a Home Energy Audit with Ecotelligent Homes after contacting several other companies and discussing their services and costs. Boy am I glad I chose you to do my audit, I was thoroughly impressed with the audit you did. Your crew showed up exactly to the minute scheduled, and was very professional. We began a preliminary tour of my house. No area of the house was overlooked, from the crawlspace to the attic. I offered to show Jamie pictures I had taken of the crawlspace, but no good, she suited-up and crawled right in and took her own pictures, very impressive! I am very confident every inch of my home was inspected and photos were taken too support what was found. You used quality testing equipment to analyze the performance of my mechanical systems, air handling systems, and air exchange. At one point during the audit a gas leak was discovered at my gas meter and you had to stop the audit prior to doing a blower door test. Not only did you make me aware of this, you also assisted me in contacting the gas company to come out and repair the leak. You rescheduled to come out to complete the audit the very next business day which I appreciated very much.”

During the audit the crew was very helpful and patient in explaining what they were doing and answering any questions I had. After the auditing was completed a detailed report was complied and presented to me, very comprehensive. Along with the report many suggestions and tips were given to me. In addition to the report you provided several proposals to address some of the deficiencies found.

I feel I got a great bargain and a complete and excellent energy audit of my home and would, and already have recommended your company to several of my friends. Your crew was exceptional, very professional, and friendly, a real pleasure to have had in my home.

We’ve been paying astronomical utility bills. My husband and I have been disagreeing about why our bills are so high so we’ve not done anything to resolve the problem. There were 2 engineers that came to my home and checked all of our electric and gas systems connections (water heater, furnace, a/c). They went into our attic and inspected the insulation quality. Then they performed an air pressure flow test that showed exactly where all the loss of heat/cool air was going and why we were losing money. They were able to provide us with excellent solutions that were priced within our budget. This is a very legitimate company and I would highly recommend them.

The audit was amazingly informational. They took lots of detailed photo’s of the insulation in the attic and the basement, and wrote up a detailed report of all the energy issues inside my home. They then produced three options for moving forward with work. We decided on an attic sealing with insulation, gas leak fixes and rim joist insulation. They were on time and professional. They did all the work they said they would and they were very clean.. They then did an exit audit comparing my energy efficiency before and after and told me how much rebate I would receive. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Brian and Nick first performed a whole house energy audit, looking at everything from insulation levels, furnace efficiency and air quality and safety. The options were presented in a good, better, best fashion in order of most bang for the buck. We opted for Option #2 which offered some efficiency gains as well as addressing some of our comfort issues. The work involved a crew onsite for a couple of days applying spray insulation and minor duct work. Very professional crew, arrived on time and finished ahead of schedule. After the work was performed, Nick returned to validate (using the blower door test) that the improvements provided the expected efficiency gains. They also handled processing our Consumers Energy rebates. Very good experience!

The Ecotelligent team spent several hours going over every nook in the house, from basement to attic…these guys know their stuff and shared a great deal of tips suggestions, etc on how to make it better. In the end, I think we will be able to save hundreds of dollars on heating and cooling bills as we bring the house more inline with the 2000’s for efficiency.

That was excellent! We just moved into the home and it was very valuable for us to get this energy audit. Brian and Nick answered a lot of questions, they showed me how everything worked and walked me through everything too. Brain was extremely generous answering follow up questions from my husband. They were just superb.
